A founder’s focus on natural-material jewelry

Coral Ye is the founder of Purapeelo. Working within Zhejiang’s commercial and creative environment, Coral Ye developed a business connecting natural-material sourcing, jewelry design and production. The company, Hangzhou Pujue E-Commerce Co., Ltd., was founded in 2016.

The starting point was a set of practical challenges in natural jewelry: fragmented supply chains, variation in pearl quality and limited design differentiation. Addressing those challenges meant treating material selection and design as connected decisions, with a clear path from an initial concept to an agreed product specification.

That approach remains visible in Purapeelo’s focus on natural freshwater pearls and semi-precious stones. Eastern aesthetic influences meet contemporary international design, while the commercial conversation stays grounded in the buyer’s product category, material direction, dimensions, quantities and destination.

Quality at the material stage and practical collaboration with business partners guide Coral Ye’s work. Today, partners can select ready-stock catalog jewelry or bring a separate custom-development brief. The aim is to help each collection become coherent in its materials and design, with the project scope and order conditions agreed through clear communication.
